11 years of orthodontic practice Dr. Reder: Munich specialist practice celebrates milestone in modern orthodontics
Munich, November 2025 – The orthodontic practice Dr. Christian Reder in Munich’s Westend district is celebrating its eleventh anniversary. Dr. Reder has been part of the practice since 2007 and since taking over the practice in 2014, he has fundamentally modernized the premises, processes and medical services – and developed the practice into one of the most innovative locations for modern orthodontics in Munich.
A decade of change and innovation
Since the takeover, Dr. Reder has pursued the goal of combining traditional orthodontic treatments with the latest digital technologies. Today, the practice is regarded as a competence center for dental corrections that focuses on both medical precision and aesthetic results.
The practice offers a wide range of treatment methods:
For example, the team uses almost invisible Invisalign braces, which are particularly popular with adult patients who value discreet treatment. In addition, fixed braces are used in aesthetic variants – for example with ceramic or self-ligating brackets – which offer optimum support and reliable treatment results.
Another milestone was the introduction of digital 3D diagnostics. Thanks to modern intraoral scanners, unpleasant impressions with silicone material are no longer necessary. This not only increases comfort, but also enables more precise treatment planning.
The practice has also expanded its range of therapeutic services: the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (CMD) is carried out in close cooperation with physiotherapists, osteopaths and speech therapists – an interdisciplinary approach that is now considered pioneering in Munich. We also offer early treatment for children in order to correct misaligned teeth and jaws as early as possible and to influence growth in a targeted manner.
“Our practice has developed enormously in recent years. We attach great importance to the highest professional quality – but also to empathy, education and a modern patient experience,” says Dr. Reder.
Digitization as a success factor
Dr. Reder recognized the opportunities of digital processes early on and consistently invested in modern solutions. Today, the practice works with fully digital patient files, a structured online appointment system and digital simulations that give patients a visual representation of their future treatment results even before treatment begins.
The practice also has a modern approach to communication:
The team uses continuous video and image content to explain how modern orthodontics works in an understandable and approachable way. The active presence on social media – especially Instagram – ensures high visibility and reaches both young families and adults with aesthetic treatment requirements.
The result: a measurable increase in reach, close ties with the community and a much greater understanding of complex orthodontic processes among patients.
Patient proximity as a guiding principle
Despite all the technology, one thing remains central: human contact. Dr. Reder and his team stand for personal care based on trust, transparency and genuine care. Each treatment is individually planned, explained and tailored to the respective needs – regardless of whether it is a child with braces or an adult patient with aesthetic wishes.
“We want to give everyone – whether child or adult – a safe, healthy and beautiful smile,” emphasizes Dr. Reder. “The fact that so many patients have been with us for years and recommend us to others is the greatest compliment.”
Outlook: Further digitalization and new treatment programs
On its eleventh anniversary, the practice is not only proud to look back, but also forward. In the coming years, Dr. Reder plans to invest further in digital imaging, holistic diagnostics and new prevention programs for young people. The expansion of social media education is also on the agenda in order to continue communicating complex medical content in a way that is as understandable and relevant to everyday life as possible.
